IIDAIIDA Rocky Mountain Chapter

The International Interior Design Association’s Rocky Mountain Chapter is dedicated to excellence in design by providing educational as well as networking opportunities to its members. IIDA RMC has three centers of activity in Colorado: Denver, Southern Colorado (SoCo), and Northern Colorado (NoCo). Women in Design (WiD) is a 501c3 non-profit that thrives on the diverse professions of its members welcoming women (and supportive men) in professions that support the building design and construction industry – architects, landscape architects, engineers, urban planners, interior designers, contractors, and all others who are interested in the organization. Leading the business in networking, NEWH programs and events are THE place to build relationships throughout the hospitality world. Our members boast executive leadership positions in all walks of the industry including management companies, ownership, interior designers, manufacturers and hospitality educators. The entrepreneurial spirit is strong amongst our many members. Most importantly, our members lead by example, reaching out and serving their local communities through educational programs and volunteer projects, and supporting educational institutions through mentoring students and donating thousands of dollars each year in scholarship awards to deserving students. The Colorado Interior Design Coalition is a not-for-profit volunteer organization, advocating legislation that concerns interior designers in the state of Colorado. Our mission is to promote, protect and enhance the interior design profession in legislative and regulatory matters and to establish standards and legal recognition for the practice of interior design as it relates to the health, safety and welfare of the public. ZeroLandfill™ is an award-winning ‘upcycling’ program held seasonally that diverts expired designer samples and supports the supply needs of local artists and art educators while reducing pressure on local landfill capacity.
